Born in the village of Chardonnay in Burgundy France.

Chardonnay is a newcomer to California.  In the sixties there was so little Chardonnay planted in California that it was listed in planting reports as one of the miscellaneous whites.

Rich, ripe and smooth flavors of fig, pear and quince dominate the pallet. Partial Malolactic fermentation gives the wine a buttery roundness while still maintaining its crisp finish.
